Donations
We appreciate donations at BARC to help us provide a comfortable and enriching stay for our animals. Please ensure that all donations are clean and ready for use 😊
We accept:
- Thick bedding such as blankets, doonas, underlays and sleeping bags
- Towels
- Clean and dry dog and cat beds
- Cat trees/towers
- Pet Food and pet treats
- Un-used pet toys
- Undamaged cat/pet carriers
- Undamaged leads, collars, and dog coats
We are unable to accept:
- Sheets
- Pillows
- Items of clothing
- Damaged items
Yellow donation bins are located in our carpark. Please consider our disposal costs before bringing in items which we may not be able to use, or check with our friendly staff on your arrival 😊

Foster Carer
Interested in becoming a Foster Carer?
BARC is currently seeking applications from homes who are willing to foster animals. Fostering involves taking an animal into your home and caring for it just as you would your own, while they undergo required health or behavioural care to prepare them for adoption. You can download the Foster Carer Application form here. If successful, you will be required to sign the Foster Care Agreement which details the conditions of Foster Care.
